The idea of an autonomous supercar might seem ridiculous at first thought but it actually makes a lot of sense. Traditionally extreme sports cars have been called ‘drivers cars’ as they are intended to connect the driver to the experience of piloting the vehicle in the most visceral way. But contemporary hypercars have far greater performance capability than even the above average driver can master. But an AI pilot would be programmed to be equal and in perfect balance with the machine it controls, making the very most of its engineering. This design was created for Tony Stark of Ironman as an expression of this coming new advancement, where the automobile becomes the ultimate thrill ride.
