20th Century Fox, 2016
In the summer of 2014 production designer Francois Audouy contacted me about designing some vehicles for the next Wolverine movie. The story takes place in the near future and director James Mangold wanted a very realistic and gritty look. Francois and I both really like French cars from the 60s and 70s and also were inspired by the big limos of the same era through the 1980s. The brand went through many iterations going from a Lincoln, to a Chrysler Imperial to a Cadillac. After some budget cuts it was decided that a donor Chrysler 300 would be a good fit and FCA signed on as the car company partner. Overall this was a really fun project and rewarding with the final film being so good.
